Who are we?
Our team consists of passionate individuals who share a vision of a better future. Pieter and Andries are committed to making a positive impact in the world.
Andries van Unen
believes that everyone should consider the impact of their actions on the availability of raw materials, working conditions, the distribution of financial resources, protecting species and the climate. He envisions a world where everyone has access to affordable clean energy. Andries’ personal SDGs are 7, 9, and 13.
Pieter de Haas
believes that sustainability requires responsible and proactive action, which involves putting in a little extra effort. He wants to leave a positive impact on the planet that will make his children proud. He wants to spread Albert Einstein’s quote:
“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

Equinox turbine technology is one of the few viable solutions to unlock the full potential of ocean energy. With our team’s expertise and experience, we can accelerate the transformation of the energy industry towards a clean future. We are standing on the shoulders of giants by partnering with large companies like Damen shipyards. We aim to boost local economies and have a beneficial effect on developing countries by leveraging local supply chains and production sites.
Our team applies sustainability not only in our work but also in our personal lives. We find a balance between work, family, and community, and act as ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable as possible. We want to contribute to the solutions that lead to a carbon-neutral planet and ensure a better future for generations to come.
