Mobula® 5 has successfully concluded its open-water testing phase. Witnessing the prototype perform in its natural setting was a milestone years in the making. The team gave everything to make it happen, from the first steel parts leaving the workshop to the turbine operating in open water.
Now, the focus shifts to analysing data on turbine control, power output, and acoustic performance, each step bringing us closer to proving that ocean current energy can provide real baseload power.
